Significant FiguresConversion factors generally have six significant figures, but some may have as few as three. Please see the sources page for information about how many significant figures each factor actually has. The number of significant figures in the result will depend on the number of significant figures in the input and in the conversion factors. (Entering 2.00 BRL will give more accurate results than entering 2 BRL.) If significant figures are not used for rounding the results may have more significant digits than the input or conversion factor. Rounding to Smallest Currency UnitThe results are rounded to the nearest amount that can be expressed in coins and notes. For example, US Dollars are rounded to the penny and New Zealand Dollars are rounded to the nearest ten cents. |
I have seen, and used or should I say attempted to use many many web currency converters, and most performed badly.
NOT SO HERE,THIS IS A VERY EASY,AND EFFICIENT
CONVERTER.
I haven't used them all extensivly, so I can't really say it's "the best", but this sure is a good one. It didn't make me work nearly as much to get a currency quote, or shift to a completely different one. It did take me a second to figure out how to set up a different currency at the top of the page, so maybe that could be made more intuitive, but that may come across as nitpicking. On the balance, I think this page looks like a keeper-bookmark.
