Botswana Pulas (BWP) and Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC) Currency Exchange Rate Conversion Calculator |
The Cuban Convertible Peso (CUC) is one of two currencies used in Cuba. The Cuban Peso (CUP) is the other Cuban currency to be used by Cubans in Cuba. The Convertible Peso is the "Tourist Dollar", because it is intended as a US Dollar replacement for Tourists. The value of the CUC pegged to the US Dollar. When converting US Dollars to Cuban Convertible Pesos, Cuba charges an additional 10% bank fee that is not applied to other exchanges.

Significant FiguresConversion factors generally have six significant figures, but some may have as few as three. Please see the sources page for information about how many significant figures each factor actually has. The number of significant figures in the result will depend on the number of significant figures in the input and in the conversion factors. (Entering 2.00 BWP will give more accurate results than entering 2 BWP.) If significant figures are not used for rounding the results may have more significant digits than the input or conversion factor. Rounding to Smallest Currency UnitThe results are rounded to the nearest amount that can be expressed in coins and notes. For example, US Dollars are rounded to the penny and New Zealand Dollars are rounded to the nearest ten cents. |
I would like bank relations to be implemented in order to transfer money from Botswana to Cuba with normal bank charges. Long time ago this is not possible perhaps bank managers will. From South Africa ABSA and FNB have correspondence with the BANDEC in Cuba and people there can freely transfer money to their families. Why not from Botswana, where there are many branches of the FNB?
