Significant FiguresConversion factors generally have six significant figures, but some may have as few as three. Please see the sources page for information about how many significant figures each factor actually has. The number of significant figures in the result will depend on the number of significant figures in the input and in the conversion factors. (Entering 2.00 NOK will give more accurate results than entering 2 NOK.) If significant figures are not used for rounding the results may have more significant digits than the input or conversion factor. Rounding to Smallest Currency UnitThe results are rounded to the nearest amount that can be expressed in coins and notes. For example, US Dollars are rounded to the penny and New Zealand Dollars are rounded to the nearest ten cents. |
Hi Im doing a project on Oslo, Norway for my computer class and I also did it for my advanced english class too. I am a freshman in Texas and this site really helped me out. I was able to tell all of my class mates and many others about this site and it helped them very well. Thank you so much for helping us learn that theyre are other money resources besides our common Dollar Bill. =)
thank you so much. i had to do this for a project and compare norwegian money with u.s. money and i found it very helping during my project. thank you so much.
This site is an excellent tool for comparing the "true" exchange rate to the rate given by currency exchange providers such as American Express. I was able to determine that the "fee" I was paying to A.E. was approximately .07 percent.
Note: I am not an American Express Card 'member'.
